Adverse Residential Signatures (ADRES)

Due to the lack of funds the research at the primary research site in Hampton, VA 23666 will be terminated at the end of August 2025.

Research on adverse residential signatures (ADRES) with a primary research site in Hampton, Virginia 23666.

These research activities are currently based on a single personal account of one person (referred to as the Affected Person or AP on this website).  A person conducting research and documenting it on this website is referred to as Writer.  The person responsible for and claiming copyright on the content presented on this website is referred to as Author.

Sleeping Stations for shielding from ADRES

The development of a sleeping station effective in shielding from the ADRES exposure.  Current effort is concentrated on the development of the Pavilion Sleeping Station (PSS) as a continuation of the earlier DIVAN sleeping station studies.  The most recent work includes the addition of the Distributed Pass Through Outside Air Ventilation System (DPTOAVS) to the PSS also documented on the PSS page), and further shielding improvements.

Intense light against ADRES

The use of moderate power (i.e. xenon) gas discharge light sources is being investigated to be used against ADRES.

In the photo (what appears to be taken from a runway) a dust, humidity and vibration proof enclosure equipped with an IFK-150 xenon gas discharge light bulb from a military airport in Belarus decommissioned in 1991 is shown.  Procured from the city of Brest near the western border (and the new home of Evan Neumann) with an asking price of 5 BYN (< 2 USD).

Bytran Utility Mobile Platform (BUMP)

Planned work on the bytran utility mobile platform (BUMP) based on a Rollx handicapped-accessible minivan and a Permobil wheelchair base.
