In the photo:  An AC outlet made in USSR installed in a block of flats built in 1981 in the Soviet Union is shown which was apparently designed to accommodate both the Soviet Union as well as the United States plugs.  With most consumer electronic devices now equipped with universal 110 / 220V power supplies, ungrounded electronics from the US market may now be used without an adapter in some older Soviet Union built apartments where such outlets are still present.

Adverse Residential Signatures (ARS)

 The research on Adverse Residential Signatures (ARS) is now at https://bytran.by/ars/.  All research on ARS is independently and privately funded.

The primary research site in Hampton, VA 23666 was closed on August 28, 2025 due to the lack of funds.  Further research on ARS is continued at other locations including one location in Minsk, Belarus.  The research on Adverse Residential Signatures (ARS) is currently based on a personal account of one person (referred to as the Affected Person or AP on this website).

In the photo:  Currently being tested is a Portable Retroreflector Pocketed Coil Mattress Accessory (abbreviated as RPC-MA) containing a retroreflector and a sample Vegas X1 pocket coil mattress fragment is shown.  For use in proximity of occupied spaces to reduce exposure to the elements of the "ARS phenomenon".  RPC-MA was implemented based on the findings of the Minsk Sleeping Station (MSS) project.  The best currently suggested placement of RPC-MA is near apartment corners at about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ceiling height reflective surface (inner cone) directed towards to the affected area or else to the direction where the ARS radiation is coming from.

Bytran Utility Mobile Platform (BUMP)

Planned work on the Bytran Utility Mobile Platform (BUMP) based on a Permobil C500 wheelchair base.  The BUMP is being considered for use in the studies of ARS.
