Hotels ARS studies

This page contains observations made at a few hotel locations in the United States where the ARS effects were felt by the Affected Person.

Hotel 1 - Red Roof Inn, Stafford VA

No photos of ceiling/beds were taken at this location (first floor room).  Among the amenities which appear to have some anti-ARS efficiency are the beds made out of metal and the acoustic paneling on the ceiling.  No remote sensing pulse was felt by the Affected Person at this location possibly due to the presence of the acoustic paneling on the ceiling.  While at this location. a long van with government issued license plates was seen in the parking lot.

Hotel 2 - Comfort Inn and Suites, Stafford VA

This hotel (second floor room) features beds made out of metal and some metal paneling on the roof.  The metal paneling on the roof does not appear to span the entire roof and is assumed to have limited efficiency for the assumed metal roof anit-ARS shielding capability of metal roofs.  Some stuffiness in the air and the presence of some scent in the air was felt while at this location believed to be associated with the ARS treatment of the Affected Person.  While at this location. a long van with government issued license plates was seen in the parking lot.  A fiew photos from this hotel (Fig. 26 - 29) can be found on the Sheilding page at the following link.

Hotel 3 - Extended Stay America (unrenovated), Hampton VA

This hotel (top third floor room) features beds made out of metal which are not solid structures but rather a thin grid on supports seen as having limited anti-ARS efficiency.  Some stuffiness in the air and presence of some scent in the air was felt while at this location believed to be associated with the ARS treatment.  A small slit opening in the window (as can be seen in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2) with or without the bathroom fan enabled was used as a passive replacement of DPTOAVS.  Wider opening of the window was found ineffective in creating a pass through flow, a window slit arrangement appears to be necessary to create a pass through air ventilation.  Opening the window wider did not provide the necessary ventilation, a slit arrangement may be necessary to be effective.  It is not currently clear if the onset of stuffiness in the air and presence of some scent in the air is attributed to some conventional delivery (i.e. through pipes etc.) or some other techniques.

Hotel 4 - Howard Johnson, Harrisonburg VA

This one storey hotel features beds made out of metal and a solid roof made out of metal the Fort Monroe - like style.  The Affected Person found this hotel to be the most comfortable to stay in (compared to any other hotels listed on this page) possibly due to the presence of a solid metal roof with a one storey layout.  Staying at this hotel did not block all ARS types, i.e. the vibrating cloud was still felt there and a few other types not clearly remembered.

Based on the photo from the Howard Johnson website the Harrisonburg, VA location is not the only one storey building featuring an all-metal roof.

Hotel 0 - Hampton Inn Denver West / Golden CO

The first time a strong stink with a similar scent as in Hotel 2 was observed by the affected person was at a hotel in Golden, CO after a series of extreme what is now believed to be ARS-related experiences in the United States many years prior to starting ARS research at the primary research site in Hampton, VA 23666.

Conclusions and Recommendations

The following components observed at the hotel locations and documented during other ARS studies (i.e. at the primary Hampton, VA 23666 research site) suggest the following features are beneficial for anti-ARS use:

The use of a ventilation system is a must have for Hotel locations where the ARS phenomenon appears to include a perception of (i.e. humid, musty) stuffiness in the air and possibly weird smells.  The worst ARS exposure is believed to be accompanied by a high concentration of ARS matter in the surrounding air.  Other features which are believed to have anit-ARS benefits include:

-  Platform metal bed
-  Metal roof
-  Ceiling acoustic paneling inside (for remote sensing pulse dampening)
